Community orchard

The Friends turned out in force yesterday to spread a little joy (in the form of well rotted compost) around the base of the apple and walnut trees.  

Every single tree is looking happy and healthy (particularly after careful pruning by Linda).

Spring has sprung

It's been a while since we last posted, but worth the wait: the hawthorn is frothing, the cowslips are looking glorious, and the new hazel copse (planted on behalf of the Royal British Legion) is settling in nicely.
